Cub Scouts of Pack 1001, first grade to fifth grade scouts, solicited food from patrons of two Local Publix grocery stores to be distributed to a local food pantry where people who are in need of food are supplied from these donated items. The Pack collected 2,015 pounds of food that included 1,974 items. Helping the Cub Scouts were the American Heritage Girls Troop FL2112. Many thanks goes to the local Publix stores for allowing us to encourage their customers to feed the poor.
