Scout of Prijedor in collaboration with Red Cross help flood affected people

Scouts of scout group "Dr. Mladen Stojanovic", from Prijedor, Bosnia and Herzegovina have stopped their regular activities due to the floods. The group has given their resources, both material and non at disposal of Civil Protection of Prijedor as well as of Red Cross. In these terms, the scouts of this group have been working since mid of May in order to provide the humanitarian help on the territory of whole town of Prijedor that has been severely affected by floods. The scout group has put 4 vehicles at the disposal of Red Cross and many members have been working side by side with Red Cross to distribute the help needed. They have put 2 tents in front of the office of Red Cross for stocking the humanitarian help. The volunteers went in different small villages around Prijedor in order to distribute the food packages and water to those who were trapped by the floods. These scouts continue to provide the help and will continue until the situation is stabilized. Here are the photos...
