Scout Journey for Peace Booth in 10th Indonesia National Jamboree 2016

The 10th Indonesia National Jamboree was held in Cibubur, East Jakarta Indonesia from 14 until 21 August 2016. This Jamboree is the biggest event for Scouts from all over Indonesia from Sabang until Papua. There are 25.000 scouts who join this Jamboree, and of course the committee had prepared all the activity well. As the project leader of Scout Journey for Peace project, I'm very happy and enthusiastic to be part of this committee especially in Global Development Village's Team in peace zone. There are 5 Booth in Global Development Village such as MoP Dance, What Peace Means to Me, Scout Journey for Peace, Networking Game and Alele. We are Peace Zone Team and we always support each other to spread the peace, joy and happiness from morning until afternoon, and also we promote the Messengers of Peace Initiative to the participants of Jamboree. As one of the Messengers of Peace project in Indonesia, SJFP also give some material about how to spread the peace through scouting activity in the Train. We have 3 person in the Booth, one as Leader, Coo Assistant and Rover scout. There are many activity in SJFP Booth such as, before we start the presentation and material, we invite the participants to sing 'Naik Kereta Api" song ( one of the famous song in Indonesia for kids ). After that we give the presentation and explain the SJFP Activity, sometime we give some door prize for the participants from PT. Kereta Api Indonesia who support our project by giving some souvenir and merchandise. Then, we continue the activity by teaching them how to be a messengers of peace through MoP Plat form and register online in scout.org. In the final session we ask the participants to take a picture with their contingent in SJFP Back Droop as a symbol of unity, togetherness and solidarity. We hope our project can inspire the scouts all over the world and also in Indonesia. Thanks to Kwarnas, APR, WSB, WOSM, PT.KAI, MoP Saudi Arabia and MoP Indonesia which has give us the chance to be part of GDV's team.
