Serra ONAN, a scout from Unicorn Patrol, Truva scout Troop, İzdos Scout Group, İzmir, Turkey She is living in Foça ( one of seaside district of the city İzmir) and also doing scouting for years. Everyday, we are coming face to face with many refugees from Syria. They are escaping from that horrible war. Serra, wants to do something for them, had decided to meet one of Syrian refugee family ( a mother with 3 children), living in Geren Villiage's worker houses. They cannot talk much more because of language , however they can understand each other. In first case, Serra had gave some clothing to them, which she had collected. The next step is, she will carry that situation to her patrol meeting to do more. May be that try is a small drop in ocean, but A scout's main duty is to be helpful. as messengers of peace This photo is enough to understand the importance of peace. well done, serra
