LABUAN: A fire victims in Kampung Saguking near here, received financial aid and daily necessities from the Scouts Association of Malaysia, WP Labuan, today. Donatiions were made by Vice Chairman I Tuan Hj Abdul Rahman Bin Hj Lamuddin in conjunction with the visit of the Labuan Scout State Council to SK Pekan Dua where victims are housed. Abdul Rahman said the assistance given is expected to help ease the burden of the fire victims who lead their dwellings burned. Daily necessities such as food and beverages were donated by private companies D'One Mart Labuan Sdn. Bhd. "We hope it can help ease the burden of the fire victims," ​​he said. In the incident at about 3:51 am on 8 February, the rise of a semi-permanent home in Kampung Saguking here burned 100 percent. However, no casualties were reported in the incident. Abdul Rahman said the public is asked to be careful and keep safety in order to avoid untoward incidents.
