Scarf and Flag Making - Creating Out of Waste

Provide participant a skill that can provide them a skill which they can use in their daily lives to earn money.
Participant were the scouts having age between 12 to 16. Scouts were divided in patrols and were asked to prepare a scarf, woggle and flag of their respective patrols. Later scouts were asked to present their scarfs and flags in front of whole scout unit to groom their presentation skills.
Around 100 scouts participated in this activity. Scouts learned a skill to use resources available at their homes and make something useful out of it. Presentation and speaking skills were also groomed through this activity.
Scouts learned to cooperate with their team mates and work together to create something fruitful out of waste.
