Say No to Plastic, Make Earth Fantastic 🌍♻️

The increasing use of single-use plastic is harming our environment, polluting land and water, and affecting birds and other wildlife. We were motivated to create awareness among people and encourage responsible consumption by choosing reusable and cloth bags. Through this project, we aim to engage youth in taking small but meaningful actions for a cleaner, greener and climate-friendly future.

We conducted an awareness campaign on “Say No to Plastic” under SDG 13 – Climate Action. Scouts displayed posters, explained the harmful effects of single-use plastic, and encouraged people to use cloth and reusable bags. A pledge was also taken to reduce plastic use and protect nature. Through youth participation and awareness activities, we promoted responsible consumption, biodiversity protection, and climate action.

We learned that small actions can make a big difference in protecting our environment. We understood the harmful effects of single-use plastic and the importance of responsible consumption, proper waste management, and reusable alternatives. We also learned that youth can play an important role in spreading awareness and taking climate action.
