SDG- 13 =CLIMATE ACTION THE East coast Railway, sambalpur division organised on dt- 09/09/2019 & 10/09/2019 a drive " SAY NO TO PLASTIC" At sambalpur railway station and colony's. The honble DRM SAMBALPUR DIVISION Sri.Jaydeep Gupta Innagurated and took oath to say no to plastic. Near abou 21 members (12 Rovers, 6 Rangers and 3 scouters) participated in the awareness drive. Our scouts and guides creat awareness among passengers , vendors, local public not to use plastic bags , plastic bottle, polythene etc. Our scouts and guides distributed allmost 200 the recyclable and biodegradable bags to public and passengers.on DT 10/09/2019 our scouts and guides organised awarnesss rally and Nukkad Natak in railway colony not to use plastic bottle,bags,polythene etc. Then they clean the local areas and plant trees. No of biodegradable bags distributed= 200 No of plant saplings = 10 , No of participants= 21
