500 mangrove trees planting project was initiated by Scouts of The World Voluntary Service Team, Penang, in-conjunction with World Wetlands Day which celebrate 2nd of February every years. Funding for this project was raised by Scout of The World Voluntary Service Team, Penang and sponsored by Penang State Government. We planted 500 mangrove trees for this event is to let more people know of wetlands. At the time we do planting and also will clean up the rubbish at the wetland. Total 150 Scouts include public had participate in this meaningful event.
