SANKALP TO CREAT A BETTER WORLD TOMORROW - EARTH HOURS

Earth Hour is a worldwide movement organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). The event is held annually encouraging individuals, communities, and businesses to turn off non-essential electric lights, for one hour, from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. on a specific day towards the end of March, as a symbol of commitment to the planet. Keeping this view, South Group Scout Troop of Eastern Railway Bharat Scouts and Guides, Kanchrapara District Association has observed Earth Hour by switching off lights from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm on 28th March 2020. A digital Virtual Online Campfire was also organised for the same. Scouts enjoyed the hour very much.
