Inter School Winter Camp was organised by the Don Bosco School, Malbasey, Soreng, West Sikkim w.e.f. 11th to 13th Dec. 2018 for the scouts & guides of St. Matt's Convent Scxhool, Geyzing West Sikkim and Don Bosco School Malbasey Soreng West Sikkim. There were 31 scouts & guides and 4 adult leaders. Camp was inaugurated on 11th Dec. At 10.am, various activities were conducted for the young people including Day Hike. Scouts & Guides were taken for day hike to Chuli Dara which was  6KMS. Approx. During the hike all the participants were conducted Sanitation Drive for half an hour in the view point near by Soreng Town. This view point has gained more importance for the tourist and the pedestrians as it located in the prominent place along the highway. We found it very dirty as all wrappers, plastics, papers, bottle were thrown around the viewpoint waiting shed. The camper scouts & guides cleaned all the surrounding of that waiting shed of viewpoint by collecting garbages from every corners and left the viewpoint much better than we found at the arrivals.
