Sambutan Hari Keamanan Sedunia 2022 PPM
In conjunction with the month of September, which is synonym with month of peace, as the National Coordinator for Persekutan Pengakap Malaysia (PPM), it is part of my duty to plan and execute a program which celebrate the month. In addition, it was the tradition of PPM to conduct a national level celebration to have more impactful and meaningful celebration with the participation of scouts from various states.
The project took place in the headquarter of Persekutuan Pengakap Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. Prior to the event, the set up of committee for the celebration took place subsequently after the circular was on spreader to the NSO on July. Therefore, the formation of the program committees happened which consists of National Headquarter for Messengers of Peace, National Headquarter Commissioners and with the advices from National Program Commissioner.
The celebration took place in Kuala Lumpur. Majority of the participants were from the neighboring states. In estimate, the program able to have around 60 participants to join.
The program has made me to be mature in thinking and always be ready for any changes in schedule. As the first program after my appointment as the National Headquarter Commissioner (MoP), it was such a huge responsibility to me to have the celebration to success. Thus, all steps and preparations need to be perfect. For future incoming program, I hope to have a more efficient method to deal with external parties to have more participations from the states and districts.
