Safe Life Through Open Roads
Following a public uprising, the police were unable to manage city traffic due to security concerns. To ensure public safety, we, the Rover Scouts of Patuakhali, were inspired by our Scout duty and voluntarily took charge of traffic management.
Over 30 Rover Scouts from various units were deployed at key city points like Chourasta, Hriday Tarua Square, and New Market. We managed vehicle flow, helped pedestrians, ensured priority for emergency vehicles, and promoted traffic awareness. Our efforts received praise from both the public and authorities.
We learned to lead and make quick decisions during crises. Teamwork proved essential in handling challenges. Most importantly, we realized that serving the community in times of need is a true Scout responsibility.
