Safe clean water for a village in Uganda by Scouts
With Clean safe water , families can better take care of the children and also reduce absenteeism from school because of walking long distances to fetch water.
A community spring well was identified and permissions were granted by the local leaders and commitment was also made to work together.Then materials were bought and a protected spring well was constructed in butambala disrict.Both scouts and community worked together.
With Clean water, diseases are controlled and absenteeism from school is reduced.
Community engagement is key when executing community based projects.
