
Sadbhavana Diwas
The Bharat Scouts & Guides, Karnataka observed Sadbhavana Diwas on 20th August 2013 at State Headquarters, Fort, Bangalore. The Sadbhavana Diwas was observed to commemorate the Birthday of Sri. Rajiv Gandhi. Sadbhavana means good feelings. This day is celebrated throughout India to promote communal harmony, peace, national integrity, love and affection among people of India beyond the feeling of caste, color or creed. Around 385 Scouts & Guides along with Scouters, Guiders,Parents & well wishers took the Sadbhavana Pledge “I take this solemn pledge that I will work for the emotional oneness and harmony of all the people of India regardless of caste, region, religion or language. I further pledge that I shall resolve all differences among us through dialogue and constitutional means without resorting to violence.” Scouts & Guides, -participated in All faith Prayer, visited KIMS hospital and distributed Biscuits for the Inpatients & also participated in Wide game & kite flying to spread the message of Sadbhavana
