Rovers & Rangers Volunteering at Hassan Festival

The project was inspired by the opportunity to serve society during a large public gathering while upholding the values of Scouting. The need for disciplined crowd management, cleanliness, and support for pilgrims motivated us to contribute our time and effort. The initiative also aimed to instill social responsibility, leadership, and compassion among Rover students.

The project was executed with the support and guidance of the temple priest, who coordinated with volunteers and local authorities. Our Rover students assisted in crowd management, guided devotees, maintained cleanliness, and supported elderly pilgrims. Regular instructions from the priest ensured smooth coordination, disciplined service, and effective execution throughout the festival period.

The volunteering program was highly successful. All participants performed their duties with dedication and discipline, receiving appreciation from the event organizers and local authorities. The event also helped the students develop soft skills, leadership qualities, and a strong sense of civic responsibility
