The Rover Scouts Commitment Ceremony of Jigme Namgyel Engineering College was conducted on 19th October, 2016. The scout leaders, Principals from nearby school, officials from Distric Scouts Association and entire faculty, staff and students of the college attended the ceremony. The event included; 1. Zhabten Recitation (prayers and wishes ) by mass for His Majesty fourth King and Fifth King ( Patron of Scouting of Bhutan Scouts Association) 2. Drill 3. Awarding of Scarf and Badge 4.Oath taking 5. Passing out Parade 6.Culture performance The scout exhibition was held. The event enhanced Messengers of Peace and MoP had been achieved at greater scale. The Ceremony ended with Tashi Lapey ( Traditional way of closing the event) The refreshment had been arranged by Rover Scouts for the entire participants and audience with finiancial support from the college. The event was a success.
