The police department is required to work extra hours since the beginning of the pandemic regarding duties to maintain civic order. The Mafeking Rover Crew assisted the Police in fully adhering to Covid protocols in duties of monitoring the roads for civilians not following the lockdown protocols and informing them of the covid guidelines, assisting in checking the passengers for legitimate travel passes, and overall maintenance in regulating traffic.
