Restoration of a village temple
Renovating a temple in a village is a big thing to the villagers.
The project was done in Alakoladeniya rajamaha viharaya . We had our rally and distributed the work among us. First we clean the temple . Then we started renovating the damaged areas in the temple . After that we started painting the pagoda and the rest of the area . After finishing all the renovations we handed over the pagoda to the cheif monk of the temple.
The village people are benefited from this project. They can do their worshipings clam and quietly in a clean and tidy place without getting distracted .
I got lots of experience from this project. It is a good community service project which helps the senior citizens to do their worshipings. Time management , working as a team , unity etc.. was gain from this project . This project was so supportive to get many experiences about life.
