Gesarling ECCD (Early Chilhood Care & Development) centre is located at a remote place under Dagana Dzongkhag or state of Bhutan. This very ECCD centre lacked of basic facilities like playing fields and proper fense. Moreover, it wasn't child-friendly as there were pointy rocks which was a threat that could harm the kids in the centre. So, I along with 10 Community-based Scouts and 5 Scouts restored that ECCD centre. Our first task was to fense the centre with bamboo maze which the centre had to pay Ngultrum 9000. Secondly of all, we built see-saw, slings and sand pit for the kids to play. Lastly we removed all the point rocks that could potentially harm those kids. This volunteer work consumed 5 hours, starting from 9 in the morning till 1 in the evening. I believe I have contributed bit, if not a huge one. Additionally I THANK all my volunteers for their service.
