Renovating and color washing a Pagoda

Many religious places in rural areas of our country are damaged. So they do not have a permanent existence, therefore we thought of renovating them for the future generations.
This project was implemented at Alakoladeniya Magala Purana Viharaya, under the leadership of Senior Scout Oshadha Adithya and under the guidance of our school Scout Masters. Our fellow Scouts visited the temple and renovated and color-washed the ancient pagoda.
A religious place should be calm, clean, and beautiful. So through this project, this pagoda was renovated and color washed. So that pilgrims can engage in religious activities with a calm mind.
Our Ancient religious places are very important to us, to show our national identity. Through this project, we learned that, as our ancestors protected these to us, we too should protect them to our future generations.
