On 25 Aprıl 1915 landings begin on Gallipoli by Armies of Great Britain and France. A regiment of 19th army run about 8 kilometers uphill to encounter the enemy. They stopped them. This was the beginning of a bloody fighting on coming months  where many thousends of young people fallen for their country Now every year the members of Scouting and Guiding Federation of Turkey came to Canakkale. Camp on the assambling area of 57th regiment. They wake up at the down pray and had a breakfast which is exactly same of their grandfathers who run uphill to the battlegrounds of Anzac landings. This year we had the longest line of flags  with  5000 scouts on WWI battle grounds of Canakkale on landing day of  Anzac forces .They were resembling 57th  regiment running uphill to encounter them. And international ceremoniaes of rememberence. To day  it is a  event of respect of Turkishh Scouts to their grandparents who fall there. Hundred thousends of young people lost their lives there and today it is  peacefull event celebrated every year . There will be a top event at 2015 where Peace recognized with thousends of them. Young people not just from belligrents of WWI but  youth from many other countries like  old dominions of Great Britain and the Ottoman empire provinces like Phalestine, Syria,  will be there in 2015 This Action is not for the best numbers but to recognize top inspiring achievements of Peace.like the remark made by Founder of Turkey Mustafa K. Atatürk ( A hero on defending Turkey an Gallipoli) In 1934 Atatürk wrote a tribute to the ANZACs killed at Gallipoli: Those heroes that shed their blood and lost their lives... You are now lying in the soil of a friendly country. Therefore rest in peace. There is no difference between the Johnnies and the Mehmets to us where they lie side by side now here in this country of ours... you, the mothers, who sent their sons from faraway countries wipe away your tears; your sons are now lying in our bosom and are in peace. After having lost their lives on this land they have become our sons as well. This will govern our future acts on the centenary of this war
