Community Based Scout members in collaboration with Dzongkhag administration, went door-to-door and one to one advocacy program on the reinforcement of plastic ban on use/sale of carry bags, domawrappers and homemade ice cream pouches initiated since 1st April was a huge success. We went to the residences of Bonday, Woochu, and main town areas of Paro. 20 CBS members joined by centre's manager created general public awareness with objective to educate them on types of plastics being banned and types of penalties that will be imposed on the non compliances of the ban for 8 hours. 20*1*8
