Reforestation of school premises
I am always motivated and like to see my school covered with trees and plants with all natural ecosystems around.
Mass plantation was carried out by 115 scouts and scout leader s at Genekha Lower secondary school in Thimphu ,Bhutan. The project was to plant 500 trees and plants in the school premises to bring back the lost forest cover during the establishment of the school. The project aims to recover the green vegetation of the school area and to provide natural environment for students and live friendly with ecosystem.
The mass plantation could recover almost half of the school area back with trees and plants . It's natural vegetation is recovering with the successful implementation of the project. In few years the school area will be back with good numbers of trees and plants.
Trees and plants are integral part of ecosystem and its necessary to give protection and conservation ias a part ofour duty.
