The Red Dot that Every Women Cherish

Most of the young girls who are about to have menstruations below 18 and above 11 do not have any idea on how to take care of themselves during such moment since its their first time. Therefore during the menstrual hygiene day scout along with the health coordinator held that day auspiciously for all the girls' and women staff at Nagor school to let everyone get the idea about what to do during menstruation and how lucky we women are.
The project was held at nagor middle secondary school in 28 may 2020 at the assembly ground with the talk on menstrual hygiene by the health coordinator and heath assistant. All the girls were provided with pads each to mark the day and also wore red tego.
Almost all the girls' along with the boys were grateful for marking that day because it was also new knowledge for them and girls were bit confident that it was something we shouldn't be embarrassed of. They were able to talk on the experience about their time of menstruation. They were sure to open up with parents too .On the other side boys volunteered not to tease them.
As a girl myself it was a great moment for me too because some things I wasn't able to know I knew that day when talks were given by the chief guest. I was proud of myself as a scout to help organizing the program . If I again get the chance to mark this day I would try to make it better through a small skit with all about the menstrual life of girls.
