Red Cross day has been celebrated by Red Cross Society in Onto village. Red Cross is a social organisation which works for the welfare of poor people. The Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) is a voluntary humanitarian organisation to protect human life and health based in India. It is part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, and so shares the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. The society's mission is providing relief in times of disasters/emergencies and promoting health & care of vulnerable people and communities. This organization helps the needy people. Homeopathic doctors, Ayurvedic Veds and other were called to examine the health of people in the village. They were called for doing the tests of diabetes, Blood pressure and another basic tests and various medicines were also distributed. The stalls were there by Aangan Wadi. The mothers have been honoured whose kids were perfectly healthy. Clothes were given to 200 poor children who were from 1 to 8 years in age. Horlicks, biscuits, bananas and fruits were given to people. It was started by D.M. Sandeep Kaur and S.P. Bablu Kumar. C.D.O.-S.P. singh,head officer of medical Jai Sawaal sir were present.
