Recycling Plastic, Make Earth Fantastic
As a responsible member of the 36 Rescue open Scout Group, I am deeply concerned about the harmful effects of plastic pollution on the environment. Plastic waste takes hundreds of years to decompose and harms wildlife, soil, and water. Inspired by the values of the Scout movement and my commitment to environmental protection, I took the initiative to recycle plastic and spread awareness of sustainable practices.
On 12-07-2025, I started the activity with a plastic bottle.I found a bottle from around me and cleaned it nicely and kept it. Then next day, I cut the bottle according to the measurements. The next day, I neatly folded the bottle and created a design. After this day, I bought a super glue and I carefully joined the cut parts together, which resulted in the creation of a plant pot.I planted a tree in the tub I made. That day, I along with five other scouts from our group collected plastic waste, such as bottles, packets and containers, from my area and surrounding areas. We carefully cleaned the waste and sent it to the local recycling center. Next day I take care the plant nicely.
Recycling reduces pollution and conserves natural resources. Proper waste segregation is essential for effective recycling. Even individual efforts can create ripple effects in the community. Raising awareness is as important as taking action. Sustainability begins with responsibility in everyday habits.
