Recovery Banjir
I was motivated to help after seeing the severe flood impact in Pondok Gede Permai. As a Scout, I felt responsible to support the community in their recovery.
The project was carried out over four days in Pondok Gede Permai, Bekasi, after a flash flood disaster. We worked together with the local community to clean mud and debris from houses and streets, distribute clean water and food supplies, and assist in the repair of public facilities. The activities were done in teams to ensure efficiency and safety for all volunteers and residents.
I learned the importance of teamwork, quick action in emergencies, and empathy for those affected. This project also improved my skills in coordination and problem-solving under pressure.
