Read Tolstoy to Elders
As project leader of Scout Reading Volunteering (Prabuhi) I must force my self to gain as much experiences as possible, not only to enrich my insight about the project, but also to set examples.
This Friday, 10th May 2013, on 10:30 am, I visit this Elder Care called "Tulus Kasih" or in English would be "Sincerely Care".
This Elder Care run by 7 people, Mrs. Gina is the manager. She asked me to make a proper introduction and get to know the Grandmas and Grandpas a little bit more.
I was bringing 2 novel and 1 short stories compilation of Tolstoy's. Mr. Ibrahim (85 years old) asked me to read Tolstoy, and the other grandmas looked like his followers :D - So, I read Tolstoy's "How Much Land Does A Man Need?"
They loved it.
And some of them even "make me promise" to come next week for another Tolstoy's short story.
This is a very pleasing experience.
