RCU08 takes The TIDE TURNERS CHALLENGE

Mabuhay! So basically clean oceans are essential for the survival of marine life. The ocean is a major source of livelihood for many people. For instance, fishermen depend on fish and other marine resources for their living. Unfortunately, if the ocean becomes polluted, this may have to stop.

This project is conducted in Dingalan,Aurora. In order for the project to be successful, we first developed a plan and ready ourselves, the more volunteers we have, the better equipped our scout force will be to organize and clean up an attractions and fishery area.

Over the last few years, the world has been awakened to shocking headlines about sea life that has sadly died as a result of devouring or being caught by the rubbish we throw in the oceans. When our garbage washes up on the coast, it give us an opportunity to remove it before the tide takes it away. Removing litter from the beach ensures that marine creatures does not come into contact with it and may become endangered in some way.
We realized how your plastic water bottle ended up in the ocean, or how engine oil can flow via the sewer and into surrounding bodies of water. You can also learn about lesser known types of pollution, did you know that underwater noise pollution can destroy marine life?
