RCI-Rodriguez: SWA Voluntary Service - Ninth Service

On May 16, 2017, the 9th day of teaching has been done. The Scouts and their Team Consultant arrived at 7:00 AM sharp in order to prepare the needed visuals and things to be used for this day, The Boy Scouts helped them in preparing by arranging the seats, fixing the tables and laying out the needed equipment; as they’ve been doing the preparations together for a while now, the Scouts and Boy Scouts also bond through these small moments. As soon as they’re done with the needed preparations, the Scouts held the Opening Ceremony at 8:00 AM to start their day. They finished by 8:15 AM. Before the lesson proper, the teachers for the day have thought of making an energizer for the Boy Scouts. They played songs as to where everybody danced to. After being energized, they proceeded to the lesson proper by 9:00 AM. The lessons for the day were about how to properly wash underwear and stockings, and, how to plant and take care of trees. They finished the two lessons by 10:00 AM. They immediately proceeded to their first activity which is, coloring a tree. They finished by 10:45 AM. They proceeded to their next activity. In their next activity, each Boy Scout was given a sock, and the pair of the sock is placed on the board. They need to put their sock next to its pair, but before that, they need to show the Scout Salute, Handshake and Sign. They finished it by 11:00 AM. Their last activity was to fix a puzzle that formed a tree. Everyone was given a piece and everyone, with unity and teamwork, finished the activity as early as 11:15 AM. After this, they had their 30-minute snack break and they ended their day. After fixing the chairs, they bid their farewells and hoped they would see each other again!
