The Rashtrapati Guide Award Testing Camp of Northern Region for 3rd batch was held at Bharat Scouts & Guides NYC, Gadpuri, Haryana from 12th–16th December, 2014 in which 247 guides and 32 Unit leaders from KVS, NVS & Haryana were attended the testing camp. On 12th December after Registration & card distribution participants briefed about the methodology of the camp. Formally the camp was started with flag ceremony. Soon after integration session the test started as per Guidelines issued by the National Headquarters. On 13thDecember 2014 in the first half written test was held for all the Guides. Oral, Practical and written test were conducted during the test. Participants render service to the camp site. On 15th December 2014, Hon’ble Shri B. I. Nagarale, I.A.S. (Retd.), Chief National Commissioner of Bharat Scouts & Guides was present as Chief Guest of the Grand Campfire along with Shri S. S. Chamoli, Director, B. S. & G. as Guest of honor. On this occasion Mrs. Darshana Pawaskar, Joint Director (SS) & Miss. Suman Lata Arora, Joint Director (G) were also present as special guest. A colorful cultural programme was presented by the participants of Rashtrapati Guide Testing Camp & Himalaya Wood Badge Course for Guide Captains. Honorable Shri B. I. Nagarale, Chief National Commissioner blessed the participants. It was a memorable day for all the participants. On 16th in the morning All Faiths Prayer were conducted. Shri R. K. Kaushik, Assistant Director, Bharat Scouts & Guides Western Region, was present in the Open Session, Final Talk and evaluation of the camp. The camp came to an end with the lowering of the flag and singing National Anthem. The camp was conducted by Miss Shivangi Saxena, ROC (G), Northern Region with the help of invited Staff Members Miss Nirmala Devi-U.P., Mrs. Kamlesh Jakhar-NVS, Mrs. Ujjawala–KVS, Mrs. Sarabjit Kaur-Punjab, Mrs. Saraswati Kaushik–Haryana, Mrs. Ahalaya, Mrs. Rashmi, Mrs. Subdha S. Sarolkar, Mrs. Rekha Chakrobarty and Mrs. Meghna from KVS, Shri Mahender Singh ROC (S) and Mr. Shubhanshu Kumar Kori, Western Region.
