An “A” rank school-jamboree got started on February 21 in Tsakhkadzor, Armenia. Gevorg Gasparyan, Chief scout of the National Scout Movement of Armenia, had a short speech during the opening ceremony and emphasized that our organization’s aim is to prepare patriotic and educated leaders who will also become worthy citizens. He also mentioned that the seminar to be held would be another important step on the way of achieving that goal. Iurie Emilian, Director of Eurasia Regional Office and Nikolay Akatov, Adviser to Regional Committee, were present at this Jamboree. Nikolay Akatov hold a seminar in his highly professional manner, which helped the participants to find answers to many questions by themselves. Main attention was paid to issues, related to leadership and management knowledge and skills. Iurie Emilian expressed his readiness and willing to support the organizations of the Region in reaching progress and development. Such kind of important events which are being organized with the support of the Regional Office, make one fully convinced that some years later National Scout Movement of Armenia will still be in reliable hands.
