Rangers Lead: Youth For Safe Roads

Seeing the rising road accidents in our city deeply concerned us. Inspired by our college seniors and fellow Rangers, we decided to lead a road safety initiative. We took proper guidance and permission from our Ranger Leader to organize this drive. Her support and our mission to save lives motivated us to step onto the field and perform this traffic duty.

Our Ranger team conducted a 2-day traffic duty at a busy city crossing our district. On the first day, we managed the traffic flow and observed common safety issues in the area. On the second day, we positioned ourselves at key points and stopped bike riders who were not wearing helmets. We politely explained to them why wearing a helmet is vital for their life safety and encouraged them to follow traffic rules (SDG 3 & 11).

Standing in uniform at a busy road boosted our self-confidence and teamwork. We learned how to talk to people politely, explain the importance of helmets with respect, and appreciate those following rules. Working under our leader's guidance gave us real-world experience and made us realize our true duty to protect lives and serve the community.
