Ramadan Food Drive 2025-Bringing smiles
Donating food during Ramadan is an act of compassion, helping those in need while fostering a sense of community. By sharing meals, we embody the spirit of generosity and selflessness, strengthening bonds and providing hope. It’s a meaningful way to give back and make a positive impact during this blessed month.
On March 9-10, 2025, we 30 scouts of the Rajuk Uttara Model College Scout Group jumped into action for this self-funded project! We collected donations from neighbors, bought food, and cooked over 400 iftar packets with heart and hustle. Despite tight resources, our teamwork kept us going. We delivered those meals to marginalized people in Uttara, sharing smiles and warmth that made every effort worth it!
Donating food during Ramadan teaches us the values of compassion, generosity, and gratitude. It reminds us to be mindful of others' struggles, encourages empathy, and fosters a sense of community. It also teaches humility, as we reflect on our own blessings, and the importance of sharing with those in need.
