RAKSHABANDHAN 2015

Rakshabandhan is also called Rakhi Purnima or simply Rakhi in many parts of India. The festival is a Hindu festival and is also a secular festival which celebrates the love and duty between brothers and sisters. On this day sisters tie a Rakhi on her brothers wrist. This symbolizes the sisters love and prayers for her brothers well-being. There are 70 aged and orphans blind people in Nab Lions Home in Khandala. This place is 4km away from our school. We went there by walk. We visit on 29th August to Nab Lions Home and celebrate Rakshabandhan. This is our lovely relationship we follow last 15 years. They waited us on this day every year and we also. Scouts and Guides tie Rakhis on blind brothers wrist. We talk with them and give them some sweet snacks also.
