“Rakhi of Peace and Brotherhood”

As the leader of this project, I wanted to use the occasion of Rakhi to spread the message of peace, unity, and respect in our community. My goal was to go beyond personal celebration and make this festival a way to honor teachers, police officers, and other community helpers who serve society selflessly.
I planned and coordinated the entire project with my fellow Scouts. We prepared handmade rakhis and organized visits to teachers, police officers, and local community members. Under my leadership, the team tied rakhis, shared greetings, and explained the Scouting values of peace, brotherhood, and service. The event was conducted successfully with active participation and support from the community.
I learned how to lead a team, manage planning, and execute a project smoothly. Leadership is about motivating others and ensuring everyone works together with unity. We discovered that small actions, when guided with purpose, can deliver a big impact. This project strengthened my belief in SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.
