Raising a Sleeve.
Mission Statement: ‘Consider what a spark plug does for a engine is the same as what raising a sleeve can do for a human, both will hopefully help spark someone to start back up again ’ To inform, educate, promote & to help all human beings understand the benefits of being a blood donor.
The biggest part of this project is getting people talking about Donating. If people start talking about the project and are listening we can better educate & inform people about being able to donate if they can. Just because one person can't donate due to health reasons doesn't mean that they can't discuss it with others and educate people as well. Social media will play a large part in spreading the world along with Badges that people can see which will hopefully start the talk as well.
Anyone that has ever knows of or needed a blood product to survive as the more people that are talking about it, the chances of more people donating is higher.
The biggest thing for me was to not force people to believe in what l believe in and not to tell them they have to do as l do. Looking at it from the point of view of someone who might not be able to donate would be hard pill to swallow so how can l incorporate them, by getting everyone to talk about it and spreading a better education of donating. Not everyone can donate but everyone can talk about it and if more people are talking about it the chances of people donating is higher.
