Pure Water, Healthy Community
I was inspired to start this project because clean water is essential for the health and well-being of our community. Seeing the water source in need of care reminded us that it is our responsibility to protect and preserve such resources. As Scouts, we believe in serving others and safeguarding nature, so this initiative was a way to contribute to both community service and environmental protection.
We executed our project with teamwork and dedication. The staff of Autsho CS, together with the community, began our journey at 6:30 a.m. and walked one and a half hours to reach the water source. We drained the tank and removed the mud and waste inside, which was the height of a person. We also cleared the bushes around the tank, completing the work by 2:30 p.m.
Through this project, I learned the value of teamwork and community spirit in reaching a common goal. It showed me that clean water is vital for health and protecting our sources is everyone’s duty. I also realized the importance of hard work, time management, and cooperation. Most importantly, I saw that with dedication, even difficult tasks can be achieved successfully.
