Providing a Water Supply to a rural school
Clean Drinking Water is an essential factor to an Individual, but most areas in Sri Lanka do not have pure water to drink. Therefore we organized a project to provide pure drinking water to Kalugahathana Kanishta Vidyalaya where there was no water supply.
This project was implemented at Kalugahathana Kanishta Vidyalaya. Our fellow Scouts visited the school and fixed the motor and the tanks in a suitable and through tap line water was distributed to all areas of the school.
We Scouts supplied Pure drinking water to a large number of Students and Teachers at Kalugahathana Kanishta Vidyalaya. So that it will impact on their health by preventing kidney diseases which cause by consuming unclean water.
Through this project, we learned that many rural schools in Sri Lanka do not have Clean drinking Water and water supplies.
