Providing services to Hajj camp in 2023
A Scout's promise is to help himself, his country, and others. I will continue this trend and strive to serve the Hajj community in the 2023 Hajj Camp as per the Rover Scout pledge.
My project was implemented at Ashkona Hajj Camp at Dhaka Airport. The project will support Hajj pilgrims in 14 shifts from June 8th to 14th. Each shift lasted his six hours. 10 out of 14 shifts I was on duty at the main gate and my main task was to verify the identity of Hajj pilgrims entering the Hajj camp. And for the remaining four shifts, I stored the contact information of every Hajj traveler who entered the dormitory in the database and performed their duties in the dormitory.
Through my work and that of other team members on this project, hundreds of people staying in Hajj camps have received various information and security for themselves and their belongings. In addition to serving the Hajj pilgrims, we have also assisted other defense forces, such as the police, in their missions.
Through this project, I learned to keep my cool even in serious situations, to perform my duties patiently without being rude to others.
