2nd of June in Bhutan is celebrated as coronation day of our Fourth King as well as Social Forestry Day. Communities and students of Sertena celebrated the day by planting 108 different trees. We have involved our community to give them awareness on protecting our natural environment. The one day program was aim to provide our parents and Cubs about the importance of protecting our forests and benefits of planting trees in and around their own surroundings. Some of the trees planted were mangoes, oaks, maples, bamboo grasses, peaches, and willows. Thus, we achieved the theme of "Success Through Synergy" by involving the communities and Cubs collaboratively.
