Projeto Mensageiros da Paz - Coração Escoteiro
After 2 years of pandemic, many families had parents who died by COVID-19. Many children have become orphans and these families will have an empty chair at the table. Nothing will fill this children´s gap, so the scouts from GE Tapejara decided to create an initiative that involves locating these children, knowing where they live, getting in touch and taking them our hearts, make them feel a little better, restore hope and say our message of peace "We are here to serve, you can count on us."
Locate children between 0 and 10 years old in the city of Curitiba (PR), find out where they live, get in touch and, on the day of delivery, take a toy, a panettone and a letter written by the wolves, all in a kit prepared by the youth of the Scout Group
Taking care of children will make them feel accompanied, welcomed and comforted in these sad circumstances. The community will feel that young people are still the hope of a better world. Project donors (money or toys) will be recognized and will receive a certificate of participation.
An action that mobilizes young people behind a community objective teaches that a little bit we could offer means a lot to those who have lost everything. This project is not aimed at a specific social class, but at all children from all social classes, so it teaches that all children deserve to have the same chance
