Challenge 2 – #E-Learning

I had Explore the SDGs hub and successfully completed the E-Learning Course on Sustainable Development Goals. In this course Scouts for SDGs and the Better World Framework I get more knowledge related to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Scouts for SDGs is inviting young people to identify local issues and create solutions as a way to contribute to the achievement of the 17 SDGs.

And also get a knowledge about the Mission and Vision aligned with the Global Agenda , An Agenda of SDGs that by 2030 Scouting will be the world's leading educational youth movement, enabling 100 million young people to be active citizens creating positive change in their communities and the SDGs all 17 Points intended to be achieved by the year 2030 .

Online, you have the opportunity to meet new people through social media and online chats. Unfortunately, not all people have good intentions. Some may want to earn your trust in order to hurt you. It is much harder to know who someone is from behind a screen compared to in person.
You should not accept friend requests or follows from people you don't know on social media. You must be vigilant, as you never truly know who is behind the screen.

The Scout Method is intended to :
✏help each young person to use and develop their capacities, interests and experiences of life thus far.
✏stimulate the discovery and development of new capacities and interests.
✏help them find constructive ways of meeting needs at different stages of development.
✏open doors to further stages at their own individual pace.

The purpose of the Scout Movement is to contribute to the development of young people in achieving their fully physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual potential as individuals, as responsible citizens, and as members of their local, national, and international communities.

Keeping young people and children safe is a Global Priority for WOSM and its National Scout Organisations(NSOs). We are committed to supporting the local implementation of effective Safe from Harm systems and we have in place a range of resources to support NSOs.
It is fundamental that every one of us in Scouting takes part in efforts to ensure young people enjoy Scouting experiences that are challenging, useful, rewarding, attractive and safe.
