On the ocassion of May Day (1st of May), I organised a community initiative from the Mirpur DOHS Youth Society to make the lives of the struggling workers and labours a bit easy.
We created subteams and distributed different kinds of fruit juices among the construction labourers, rikshaw pullers of the locality - who work and toil all day beneath the scorching sun and are often devoid of proper food and nutrition. These are people who often live below the poverty line. 
We also distributed these refreshments among the security guards of our residential area - this was as a token of gratitude for the effort they put in to safeguard our lives and wealth day and night from local miscreants.
