Project of Health Equality and Community Empowerment(HECE) is a project that related to problems that happen in local communities of southern Taiwan. In these communities, most of them are facing aging problems. Especially the villages in deep mountain, people are facing the lack of public transportation and medication. Sadly, some elderly even pass away at home and didn't known by others. For most of people in villages, they wish there can be some changes for community development and public resources. National Science Council of Taiwan designed this project for people in these 4 communities. We encouraged scouts to connect and cooperate with it with scouting spirits and to do something through scouting network.
