Though a community service project is a requirement for my President Scout Award, I did not wanted to do one for the sake of doing it to obtain an award.  I wanted to a good project through which I can serve the community, show our unity and also develop Scouting within our District. Accordingly, I organized a Blood Donation camp at Vidyakara Pirivena, Chilaw on 8th of September 2018 with the help of my Troop, commemorating the birth of Lord Barden Powell, the Founder of Scouting.
