Participated in Messengers of Peace (MoP) Briefing for Leaders. The Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association (PPNBD) organised a briefing on Messengers of Peace (MoP) initiatives to scout leaders at the PPNBD Headquarters. PPNBD Chief Commissioner Haji Awang Badar bin Haji Ali was the guest of honour. Deputy President Pengiran Wahab bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, International Commissioner Abdul Manan bin Haji Abdul Latip, members of the national scout councils, scout commissioners and leaders were also present.

In his remarks, the chief commissioner emphasised on the involvement of scout members in the success of the Messengers of Peace programme. He encouraged Scout members to continuously conduct similar programmes related to the sustainable development goals set by the United Nations.

The event continued with the presentation of the Messengers of Peace scarf and badge by Messengers of Peace Coordinator Liyana binti Haji Salleh to the chief commissioner, then chief commissioner also presented the scarf and badges to scout commissioners and leaders.

The event also saw a presentation of Messengers of Peace by the PPNBD Messengers of Peace Coordinator, Dayang Liyana bte Haji Salleh.

The Messengers of Peace is an initiative launched by World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) for scouts worldwide to create and implement programmes that lead to peace, harmony, brotherhood, environmental sustainability, overcoming social problems and related fields.
