The members of The Bharat Scouts and Guides, Badarpur District Asoociation served for 3 Days in Pulse Polio Program from 31-01-2021 to 02-02-2021 with the collaboration with Railway Hospital, Badarpur. A day before the service we attended a training on Polio. Later we were devided in various groups for the Service. The Pulse Polio Initiative was started with an objective of achieving hundred percent coverage under Oral Polio Vaccine. It aimed to immunize children through improved social mobilization, plan mop-up operations in areas where poliovirus has almost disappeared and maintain high level of morale among the public. So, in the presence of District Chief Commisoner Guide Mrs. Supriya Dey (Chief Matron of Badarpur Railway Hospital) a total of 20 Rovers and Rangers started Polio Service. 1st Day we sat on various Booths in Railway Colonies and on 2nd and 3rd day we went Door to Door.
