Planting Trees for Peace and a Greener Bhutan

Our main motivation was to celebrate the International Day of Peace through tree planting and environmental conservation. As Scouts, we wanted to contribute to a greener Bhutan, inspire others to protect nature, and demonstrate how small actions can make a big difference in building a peaceful and sustainable future.

On the occasion of the International Day of Peace, we organised a tree-planting activity at Avagardo to promote peace and environmental conservation. Scouts planted trees and raised awareness about protecting nature, contributing to a greener environment while promoting peace, unity, and community responsibility. The activity strengthened our teamwork and reminded us of the importance of working together towards a peaceful and sustainable future.

Through this project, we learned the importance of tree planting, environmental conservation, and teamwork. We realised that protecting nature is everyone’s responsibility and that small actions can make a meaningful difference. As Scouts, we also learned how working together promotes peace, unity, and sustainability while contributing to a greener and better future.
